About
Aurora Williams
I'm a recent film graduate. After filming several weddings during my three years at University and focusing on documentary in my final year. I decided to take the next step and develop my passions into a business.
Documenting life's special and even mundane moments is something I've always felt passionate about. Being able to re-live a memory over and over is amazing, but being able to see people's different expressions or hearing their laugh makes it that much better.
When creating the films, I think about how in fifty years you'll be able to show off the dress you chose, hear your vows and the emotional speeches and see old friends and family.
I think everyone should have the opportunity to look back and re-live their wedding day. Many other videographers only offer one package or a set price. However, I wanted to make sure even couples on a tight budget can watch their wedding day in years to come.

Qualifications and Experience
BA (Hons) Film
I graduated with a 2:1 on July 4th 2019 from the University of South Wales.
It was through University that I booked my first wedding and started developing the idea of becoming a wedding videographer. I fell in love with the documentary style and decided in order to further my skills and help with future weddings, I would focus on Documentary in my third year.
Freelancers Academy
In June 2019, I was chosen to attend the USW Freelancer's Academy where I was helped and shown how to build my business from a simple idea to making it a reality. I even had the chance to pitch my business idea to a panel of judges who not only selected me as 'Best Pitcher' but also awarded me with funding towards improving my filming equipment.
Freelance Videography
During my University course, I had many opportunities to work with clients or companies. This has given me a lot of experience in working with people as well as a showreel featuring short films, interviews, promotional videos and events.
Filming
I've actually been filming and playing with cameras since I was about 9 years old, when my sister and I borrowed my Mum's video camera. Not my most professional work, but it's where my love of documenting started.
I continued to film on flip phones and tiny digital cameras until I slowly got better cameras of my own.
